Rather than just post a comment on our blog in response to the misleading claims by MicroAire about Tickle Lipo, Dr. David Best of Greensboro, NC chose to write a direct letter to his Tickle Lipo representative. We reprint the letter in its entirety for you here.

Dear Mr. Boynton,

Tickle Lipo gives me a unique ability to do liposuction in the office under local anesthesia.  The NIL motion of the tip is significantly different from any other powered cannula. It allows me to infiltrate a local anesthetic in such a way that the patient can be comfortable during that phase of the procedure, thus allowing the liposuction to proceed with minimal delay and more efficiency.  The NIL catheter motion provides for easier removal of fat and seems to be less traumatizing to the tissue layer in that patients have les swelling and less discomfort and are back to their activities faster than with traditional liposuction.  The Tickle Lipo is unlike any other liposuction system available.  It is unique in two ways, its character for developing local anesthesia,  and in fat removal.  It is well accepted by patients and has completely changes the way in which I perform liposuction procedures.
